can anyone tell me how the turn signals turn off by themselfs???

After 1/10th of a mile if left on too long. As for after turning, I can only guess but it may be controlled by the same sensor that sets off the flashers when the alarm is armed.

there is a little gremlin that knows when you turned, in the non riding winter months he moonlights as one of Santa's secret elves!

No evidence of this but I seemed to notice that they also cancel when you accel. and shift from 1st to 2nd etc. and don't necessarily have to be turning.

Signals ,speed sensor {transmission mounted } alarm, speedo, are all controlled by the TSSM module. It is buried under your seat, Don't touch it ! If this little gem ever goes bad on you, get a loan to fix it!
