below the lights around the lower triple tree... If your gonna keep a camera you might want one that is padded inside...
I have a H-D one that has internal padding...
also buckles then velcro is a PITA to open quickly... mine is velcro then a zipper..
Just a word of advice- if you mount the a bag on the triple trees, over time it will leave rub marks on you bike. Nothing wrong with this if you expect it. You will have to polish out the rubs once in a while. If you mount it down above your voltage regulator it less accessable but won't leave mark to polish. Just my .02

Thats why I hard mounted mine. Makes it very secure and no marks.
I mounted mine down by my voltage regulator too. It's less visible and rub marks aren't an issue. I put my camera, cell phone, goggle lenses, etc. in there, as well as my insurance and registration. but I put it in a plastic zip lock bags. Just in case.
I mounted mine on the risers. The straps leave marks but I don't particularly care. I also have one on the sissybar below the hd sissybar bag. The straps from it leaves marks on the fender but once again I don't particularly care. I plan to keep the bike about 10 years and likely hit close to 100k so I figure a few rub marks don't much matter to me.
