Here is my question will it fit A Wide Glide? I assume it will same fender.
I thought that the fender on the Fat Bob was wider than the Wide Glide. I could be wrong but that was my understanding since the Fat Bob has the 180 tire on the back.
Picked mine up Monday. Couldn't wait to see it on so I put it on in the hour I had before dinner with customers. Took about 30 minuted and I was able to do it in dress pants and a golf shirt without making a mess. Looks 100 times better than the stock hemaroid sticking out. Remove 3 bolts on each side and the fender comes right off. Was worried I would have to drop the shocks becasue of the strut covers, but that is not a problem at all.
Great mod and I was so happy Harley pulled their head out their butt and made a light that was not only a decent replacement, but awesome!
I installed it last weekend. Be prepared to remove the rear fender and be sure to cut the zip strips on the bottom side of the fender like it states in the directions. Trust me, those little bastards can cost you an extra half hour if you miss it. It looks and operates 10x better than the bubble light.
Not sure how to put a pic in the post but got it in an attachment.
Which bolts did you remove? I was going to get a service manual but my dealership didn't have any. All the instructions say is.....
Remove the seat per the instructions in the service manual
Remove the fuse per the instructions in the service manual
Remove the tail lights per the instructions in the service manual
Etc Etc Etc
