my bike: 08 fxdse2, stage 4 r&r heads, 10.8 compression, se257 cam, supertrapp, 107hp/115tq sae...stock throttle body is holding hp back, hoping to add hp inc 51mm soon

wife's bike: 07 fxdb, 96", street ported heads, 9.8 compression, andrews 37 cam, fatcat, 94hp/97tq sae

thank you. your bike has always caught my eye everytime i go into the dealership.
sonic, do you know if your bike has stonger flywheel compared to the flywheel on a stock 96" dyna?

96 and 110 flywheels are the same questionable quality...didn't want to split cases to true and weld mine, so I am hoping for the best...we know the biggest flywheel killers are overrun, lugging and high rpm downshifts

we know the biggest flywheel killers are overrun, lugging and high rpm downshifts
hook, the 88 flywheels are also subject to scissoring.

I had mine welded when I went to 121 CI.

The rods are important as well.

And, change to Torrington bearings.

That's why I threw in a picture of my Ninja, I always thought it was about the ride on a Harley, I never thought the numbers mattered on a hog, I got mine just to enjoy the ride and putt, it will never see a dyno or a big bore kit. I think 96 cubes are big enough for my needs.
