My vote is for thunderheader. As I've said many times...been using them for years and I still love 'em! But the Fat Cat is an awesome pipe too...as is the Basanni road rage. I agree with Special Ed...the big radius 2into1 is a "fad" exhaust. I just don't care for all of the "swoopy" pipes. But hey, that's just me...to each his own.

I just don't care for how fat the 2-1 BR is....it's what turns me off about a lot of 2-1 pipes...they look bloated. The Thunderheader looks awesome to me...just wish the rear cylinder's pipe went behind the footpeg.
It's actually wrapped around like that to get both head pipe the same equal length.
The thunderheader is a love it or hate it pipe. But it's been around forever and those of us that love em wouldn't trade it for anything. Take a look at the Basanni road rage...it's a cool lookin' exhaust and supposedly performs really well.

Yeah, that's what I'd heard...wrapped like that to equalize the length front and rear. But they didn't have to do that with the softail version...I didn't think there was that much difference in the frames...
I got the Bassani pro 2 in to 1. sound good performs good. some people call it the road rage but the road rage looks more like a thunderheader except shorter. heres a pic of mine.
I like how that 2 into 1 merges into one pipe before the foot peg.It looks like it might have a little better ground clearance than the Thunderheader.I've heard that they throw off allot of heat but so does the Thunderheader, and the stock exhaust system for that matter.
