Has anyone experienced a vibration that starts suddenly and is so slight that if it were not your bike it would probably go unnoticed? At first I thought the vibration was a rougher patch of road, so I changed lanes and it stayed the same. I moved into the center of the lane versus the side and it stayed the same.
I would describe the vibration as "in the seat of my pants" and almost as if a half track style vehicle drove on the road in front of me but it is so slight that it is barely noticeable. The bike will drive like this for a half hour or so then stop just as fast as it started. It usually starts while going through the gears and I shift from 2nd to 3rd.
BTW - Once it starts it does not matter what type of road I'm on, it stays the same. For instance, today it started on a main road that connects to a highway. I got on the highway and then off the highway five exits later and it stayed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check your spokes if you have them and tires for being round, as in no high spots and balanced. Check to see if a brake caliper is not hanging up and heating the disc up.

The vibration almost feels like a bad trany mount would in a car. I did not think tire or spoke issue because it is intermittent. I was unsure if motor mount issues were typical with our Dynas.

As an Introductioni would like to point out I live in Abu Dhabi and at present 110 deg day and night is not uncomon, I was chatting to the mechanic who did my 1000k service he was telling me they have set up the on board computer so that if the bike is opperating very hot, it will switch the back cylinder to fireing on every alternate stroke, he said this will have a minimum reduction in power, this is to assist with the temperature, I dont know how true this is or if they can even do that, but I am sure if this was to happen while riding one would notice a difference in vibration patterns, maybe someone out there has experience with this,

Reason: left out a few words
Interesting you bring this up as I noticed this last night when riding. I thought ?I had noticed it before once or twice as well but not often. Thouhgt it just might be me having an off night or something. Almost seems like it is running a bit rough, though pickup and shifting all seem the same. I am going to check out the motor mount post I guess.
Thanks, I appreciate everyone suggestions. Now that I have a few more ideas to work from I’m going to take the bike to my local indy and find out his opinion and will keep you all posted on my progress.
