Thumbs down Fat Bob rust ?

I really like the bike but rust on the bike and only about 1000 miles.Have driven in rain 2
times and washed the bike after, then stored the bike in a warm garage.Anybody else who
have this rust on the brake connection at the lower triple tree ??

Have also had some plastic cover falling to pieces on the garage floor, the dealer have
ordered this parts. The plastic covers protects electrical wires and are fastend on the frame, located between the transmission and the svingarm.

My 08 Fat Bob had the same issue within 1K miles, but looks solid rust now (2,600). I reported it to my warranty guy at the dealer. We await MoCo opinion...

Yep, same on mine. Seems like they didn't treat a part/use stainless when they should've. Let me know if you hear anything StormRider.

WAX WAX WAX! i wax everything 3 times a year... with a 3 man crew each bike takes 3 hrs... i wax EVERYTHING, not a speck of rust on our bikes... and it makes cleaning so much easier... being that i live in chicago and ride year round, the salt on the road in the winter will eat the bike up if you do not protect it... we used to use Zimal, now we use.... hum... i will have to get back to you on that, just emailed my brother to find out what it is called

I haven't seen any rust yet, but I'll keep an eye on that particular spot! Thanks!

Same washer rusted on mine! I was just going to replace it with a stainless one and not deal with the dealer.
