hey mixtacy and rickr what brand wheels are those blackbike?
Are those blackbike wheels you guys have on those sweet Bobs?? I called Blackbike and they quoted me like almost 2 grand for a set! I asked for an 18 x 5.5 and a 21 x 3.25 combo with primo ingredients. Please include details for us on those so we may all aspire to be as cool as you guys. I see alot of guys building thier own wheels but then I have downtime and cannot resell my wheels that have already been gloss black powdercoated and laced with stainless spokes. (oem hoops 17 and 19 before i got the bike) I am ready to drop the dough on a set of wheels and want them yesterday. Please confirm these details so I can get them ordered. I am still up in the air about the voodoo rear cuz of the cuttin off of the rear struts and how good rickrs bike looks. Those are the 2 nicest SB on the planet in my book. No extra BS and BIG PIMPIN...

thanks for the compliment..i put alot of time into my bike n im a big fan of tweakins....i was gonna go with wheels from hd wheels but i couldnt spend 3gs on wheels with a baby on the way! lol... i was gonna do fat spoked wheels but then i wouldve needed a wide glide front end and i just got done powdering my lowers n trees...so i did the more cost effective route.. i took my existing hubs and had them re spoked to bigger rims. i went 18x5.5 in the rear and 21x3.5 in the front. i wrapped them in avon cobras..200 rear 120 front. i got the rims n spkes from buchanans spokes which are top notch quality. i had the rims powdered red...hubs and spokes black. all my original spacers and axles lined right up. no need to get a new front end. and as far as cuttin off the struts it was a big risk but after the bike looked amazing.i love the fender.
