Well today I went out for errands ,maybe 3 miles, and park for lunch at one and what not ,come out at 4 pm and -- no juice !! I call hd they need to see it! Well ok.So I can't start it and I tried pushing and bump starting, finally boost with my honda civic(engine off)drive it to them and they change the battery , but find nothing else wrong! Jeez the batt was only 6 months old.
Other warranty issues:
primary front end gasket
horn
crankcase halfs
front brake master cylinder
So this is the fifth repair in 5 months,i hope not all new bikes (bikers) are haveing this knid of trouble.
What happend with your crankcase halfs maddghost ? The dealer here said that HD in Stockholm have difficult to get all parts from US because of all warranty issues.
was a porous crankcase , they ordered them and installed new crank halfs with my numbers on them.A bit of aluminum was missing in the mix that day at the plant.

My bike sat for 7 months while I was in Iraq and it started right up when I got back. If you have to keep yours on a battery tender whenever you aren't riding it, then there's something wrong.
I know you put it on a tender but did you check and make sure the battery cables are tight? Mine has loosened up many times and either made it hard to start or not start at all. I finally puit loctite on the bolt holding the negative cable on and haven't had trouble since (knock on wood)
