Default forward controls?

I'm looking at a 07 Dyna Custom that has the forward controls that were installed when it was bought new. Can they be put back to stock? I mean when the guy picked up the bike he didn't get any left over parts so do I need to get the stock controls? Thanks

You can take it back to mid-controls (stock) but why would you want to do that? Foward controls are much more comfortable

My Fat Bob came with forward controls. When I asked about a switch (to mid), the dealer said it would be approx. $300. I decided to wait. After 3,000+ miles, I am keeping the forward controls.

Default Most Comfortable???

Too each his own. I went from stock mids to fwds on my SBob and have had a hard time lovin em. I am a shorter rider and they can be a challenge. If you don't like em change otherwise put the mids back on and have both.

Default Forwards

Any thing done to a Harley can be undone-I bought an 07 FXD with forwards, and the first long ride buggered my right knee, knee rubbed the air filter cover. my body (70 years young) did not like the angle my foot was at, so I developed knee problems, put mids on the right side my self, left requires, at least for me, a shop to take off---happening on Monday,

I have a 30" inseam riders with longer legs seem to love the forwards, but in my case off they come.

Hey JG,
I sent you a PM about your fwds. Wanted to talk to you about them if you're still looking for mids.
