Please be for warned...It's not that easy. If you have alot of patience and no time schedule it's fairly simple. If you cut wires, you better unhook your battery first. also, you must make sure your new drilled holes are wide enough to accept all the wires easily to make routing them hassle free
I just installed fatty mini apes and relocated my turn signals on my bob and it was an all day affair. I didnt cut sh*t btw and had to pull my gas tank back to access all the connectors.
The bars & risers i bought are right off a stock 06 wideglide; i saved a bunch of money this way by avoiding the "show chrome" look. The chrome bars and risers out of the parts book are 400 beans!!! I paid less than half that (zanotti motor.com) If you go this route, simply go to your dealer once the parts come in and ask for them to print the installation instructions by giving them the part # of the chrome fat apes out of the parts book
I just installed a set of T-Bars with internal wiring on my 05 Super Glide. When I was pulling the wiring through the bars the vinal loom that covers the wires pulled off of one side. Didn't think much about it since it was inside the bars so I crimped my splices, put everything back together and took a ride. Started the bike the other day and my brake lights are stuck on!
Probably skinned a wire and started looking for a reasonable priced long harness. Can't seem to locate a harness without switches in a long length. Any advice?
It's up to you a lot of people swear by cutting them and resolding and just as many refuse to cut them if they don't have to. I cut them just because I thought it would be just as good but quicker to do it that way. I haven't had any trouble. Anyway here are a few pics let me know if you want to see anymore.
Sorry to jump off topic, but any way you can post a pic of your bike where I can see the headlight? I am looking to go with a bullet headlight for my WG and I want to make sure I get one that will look right.

Sure I posted a few pics here https://www.hdforums.com/m_346832/mp.../tm.htm#350687 you can see the headlight in a couple of them. It changed the whole look of the bike IMO.
Actually come to think of it I have gotten more compliments on this headlight than anything else from people I come across while riding.
Thanks yeah it's 5 3/4 X 7. I got it from eastern performance. Got a good deal it from them on ebay. I can't remember the exact price but it was about 1/3 of what HD wants for a similiar light They are real helpful there and ship fast. I've ordered from them 3 or 4 times. Check em out. No problem on the questions. Glad to help.

Are you sure that isn't a 5 3/4 X 9? I can't find one that is 5 3/4 X 7 that looks like the one you have.
