Sal C.
You can get the shocks and fork kit through any Progressive Dealer, like your local Harley Davidson dealer. I've seen them at BikeBandit.com, phatperformanceparts.com. The 430's come in 11" and 12", maybe 11.5".... so be sure to get the 11" to lower your Dyna to the max..........but get ready for sticker shock.
The Progressive 430's are VERY EXPENSIVE. But for me, well worth it. I know Progressive makes MODEL 412 in an 11" shock for Dyna's that are half as much as the 430's....but aren't as easily adjustable either, and they dont look as nice....but it will do the same thing.....lower you which is the key.
The 412's come in 2 sub models Standard or Heavy Duty, depending on the load you're carrying.
I've given you 3 links below. One is for the Lowered Fork Spring Kit, showing all that comes in the box. If you lower the rear, you really have to do the front too to be flat footed in the end.
The second site is for Progressive's full line of shocks and accessories. You can compare the 412's against the 430's.
The Third site shows a fellow INSTALLING THE 430'S AND THE FORK KIT on a Road King... short clip on Youtube..... worth your time.

I had my Harley Dealer order and install the set up while my bike was in winter storage. I cant begin to tell you how much better I feel riding, braking and coming to stops and the overall handling, since my center of gravity has been lowered. BTW, no scraping of my pegs either in turns, if you were wondering.
The only other MAJOR improvement I made was changing the pegs on my MID CONTROLS. I slapped on a set of Kuryakyn Dually's with heel stirrups, and it's like having floorboards on a Dyna. What a wonderful feeling of solidness under my feet, instead of those skinny pegs, and no more leg fatigue or burned right heel from resting it on the pipe.
Hope this helps. I know you'll love the effect after you get it done. It's like night and day for me.

BTW, I was looking at the Sundowner for my 07 Dyna because my butt aches so bad after 60 miles of riding. How much did it raise you UP over the STOCK SEAT? Here I just spent a small fortune lowering it..... and dont want to ruin it with a Sundowner seat if it's too high. Can you give me any idea of how much higher you're sitting or if you're back any further from the tank when seated? Any info or even a photo of it on your Dyna would be a HUGE help for me...... you can send a private email if you wish. Anything you can tell me will help. THANKS

I'm running the standard weight progressive 412's in the 11" length. They are great. I only ride solo and weigh 180 and I've never bottomed out. The bike handles a lot better also.

Thanks LWOS. Couple of things. I've got a really good set of shocks on my shovel. I'm going to measure them tonite when I get home because I'm pretty sure they are 11" (eye - eye). 1st question..should I take one off and measure it. The reason I bring this up is because when I 1st got my 07 LR, I changed the stock shocks for the ones on my 81. Lo and behold guess what ??? Well, my rear turn sig stopped working. Well, after a new bulb (no help), I put the bike on a stand and found out I toasted the wire with the lowered bike. To say the least, what a bit** to re-soder the wire. Didn't have too much to work with. Got it tho. SO....you are saying that 11 inchers are working with yours OK? I weigh 150, wife weighs the same. Also, did you have to do any kickstand adjustment. I know from previous lowering, that the bike will not lean comfortably when on its kickstand. I'll check my e-mail later on and I have some picts I can e-mail you of the seat. I have a saddleman gel seat on my shovel (I'll e-mail that too). It is sooooo comfy. I called Saddleman when I first got the LR to see when they were coming out with one that would fit my LR; they said not for a few months. The stock seat on the LR wasn't cutting it for me, so I got the Sundowner. I took the seat off my shovel and brought both seats to an upholsterer. He actually cut the sundowner to the dimensions of the Saddleman and then recovered it nicely. Granted, it doesn't have gel in it, but it sure is better than the stock seat.
Will be in contact later, will also check out the links you sent
