Default One more fluid question...

The manual says the oil and tranny fluid are checked with the bike on the jiffy stand but it's silent on primary fluid. Does that mean the bike needs to be level (on the stand)?

I'm guessing yes, but want to make sure before I open everything up.

you don't have a stick to check the fluid in the primary. unless you have a visible leak you shouldn't need to. if you want to check it or change it you do it on the stand as well. the fluid should be just under the opening (after you remove the inspection cover).

when you change the fluids put in the recommended amount in the manual...a measuring funnel with tube works great for this (found at auto parts store).
