Looks great. I went the cheapo route on my old FXDL - $30.00 complete, 15 minute install time. Got tired of trying to find the real deal.

Awesome writeup, Keeg...I don't know if I'll be able to follow the route of piecemealing that kit due to expense, but I really like the idea of boards on my Bob.

if those are the real deal FXDP running boards, with all fittings included, then $500 is a good price. An original fxdp set recently sold on ebay for $800 - and they were used.
