Hard start when warm?

Tonight I noticed that my Fat Bob strains the battery when I start it shortly after turning it off ... like when i stop for gas. I rode it to work tonight, turned it off so i could walk around and open the shipping door (I park it inside) and when I went to restart it the battery practically died. It struggled and actually "clicked" a few times before finally starting.

The machanic at the dealership said they were using different connectors on the battery that aren't so good and HD has just recently changed them. My bike goes in next Tuesday to be checked so I'll let you know what they decided to do and how it works out. .... Of course, like my little highlight issue it hasn't reoccurred tonight once I made the appointment. I took a nice night ride and rode my bike to work (3rd shift) and started and stopped it several times. Started right away ... no headlight flicker. FIGURES!!!

Battery Problems
I have a '92 Lowrider with 27000 miles on it and the only time I've ever had a problem is when one of my cables was exposed and grounding out the power and wouldn't let it recharge. Got that fixed. Last summer, I took my battery to have it recharged and I was told my battery was good for another season, well that's almost a year and a half ago, still running strong. I say invest in a new battery, a good one, and roll on! I'm at 7000 ft elevation here in Flagstaff, AZ and I ride all year around, never a battery problem.
