Default Beating a Dead Horse (seat question)

I have read through all the threads, seen pics, even sat on a few saddles, but the stock seat on my 04 wide Glide is $hit (it took almost 5 years to finally let me down)). It has lost the love and now my a$$ is sitting on the hump. I am 6'2" and feel like I am scooting closer to the bars as I write this post.
Question: I have explored all seats, unfortunately all by this here computer. Need to know realistic ****. HD shops here don't have what I am looking for. Harley folk try to sell me HD seats, other bikers (not the ones on Sons of Anarchy, whats up with their fairings) differing depending on thier a$$.
I am looking at Corbin's Dual Tour( Big a$$ seat, big a$$ $$, or the Gunfighter and Lady, goodlooking but I heard isn't all that to sit on, and then alot of posts re: HD Sundowner. Is the G&L really different than the DT? Would like the GF to ride but.... is it worth the extra $$ to buy the big a$$ seat. Does the Sundowner really push you forward on a Wide Glide? Goin' crazy, only have so much cash to spend and want this to be a one time purchase (or two or three...). A HD salesman told me the Dual Tour rocks but is ugly, the G&L isn't supportive, and the Sundowner is half the price and just like the DT. Only one Sundowner in shop was on a Ultra Glide (a lot biggger). If you don't mind, enlighten this poor soul. Sorry about another seat question but..... FYI, I want comfort but still want bike to look halfway nice. I ride a fair amount and would ride more.......

I have said it before and I will say it again. C&C seats are awesome. I am running the lopro solo and it looks great is comfortable. They also have touring seats that actually look nice. Check them out. http://www.ccseats.com/

Mustang is the way to go..... I suggest the vintage wide solo with the detachable back rest and passenger add on. I've got the wide, I think it's the only version with the backrest. The backrest turned out to be a great addition, didn't think I would like it at first but now I love it.... Even leave it on for short solo rides, doesn't look bad in my opinion. Check out fleabay and craigslist, I got a pretty good deal on mine there.

ditto.....................Mine is better now after 10k then when it was new.........it keeps getting better with the miles I put on it, and I don't think you can say that about any other seat.

I am riding with the Sundowner and really like it on the road, but in town it is a little wide and makes the insides of my thighs a little sore! I am 5'11", 210# and feel like I am sitting back pretty far. For the money, I am very satisfied with it and the rear seat is nice and comfy too for the significant other.

Thanks for advice, actually have been loking at C&C. as alternative to my wish list. Do they move you forward or back at all? Would like an extra inch or so (thats what she said) back furthur. For the Mustang fans, I have heard that seating position is up an inch or so. Is this true? I have sat on a few in the shop and they feel similiar to stock (which I don't want). But they are damn comfortable.

My C&C moved me back about an inch or so.

I like my new pillow look seat. (HD) The wife says it's 100% improvement over the stock seat but those big bumps still get through all that padding. I'm only 5'9" but it feels like it sets me back. I'm not sliding forward. Sometimes I have to grab the bars and pull forward a bit. $229.00 I believe. I can get part numbers tonight if your interested. Hope this helps?
Tim
