well, they just dropped of my tri-bar LED. I thought when I first bought it that it was a bit steep - $$$ - for what appeared to be just a bit of plastic tail light, but upon opening the box, I can see that it looks to be a pretty slick kit.Tail light, license plate bracket, under fender housing, a bunch of other bits and pieces, even a license plate frame. I can see where the money went into this thing.
Looks to be a bit more than a 5 min job to install, so I'm gonna have to wait until the weekend.
It's gonna look sharp.
Also picked up the new factory Zumo mount - need to see if I like it or not.
Put it on mine as well. Very bright and very cool. Not in the picture but I just changed the blinkers to full led with smoked lenses which balances it all.
Also, the wire harness that you plug into the new tail light/fender support is not long enough in the way they want you to route it. I cut out an opening to the left of the upper lens housing which made it much easier.
It is a sweet light. I put a Kuryakyn side mounted plate on my FXDF and wanted to show more of the rear tire. I tried to chop the plastic up close to the stock tail light originally. Finally sucked it up and droppped the money on this light. Very happy with it. Except for the lack of slack in the wiring that db252 mentioned, it went on without any issues.
