Dude, I love those Apes......Looks great on your bike.....Gots me thinking now. Maybe this winter. What size were they?? How do they ride?? Comfortable? Are your hands above your shoulder?

I went from drag bars with 8" rise to these. My hands are about even with my shoulders. I'm 5'9" and use a mustang solo day tripper. The ride is more laided back I'm still getting used to the handling haven't done any twisties yet. The bars are Carlini fly'in apes 14 inch with 1 1/2 risers. The fly'n apes measure really 15 inches. I put on PM renthal grips they are thinner than stock and no resistance when throttling if that makes sense. I used 74" clutch cable 39.5 throttle and idle and 54" brake. You have to get use to looking between bars not over. But I'm likin it so far.

Very Nice! Funny thing, before I got my bike I always thought apes were rediculous looking. Within the first week I turned my stock bars up more.

you beat me to 'em... I wanted the Gangster apes but they don't come stepped (1" in the riser) these do so they won out over the others... I would get their limited edition Chino ape but not available in 14" so unless there is something better out there I like these will adorn my ride as well.
