Anyone know if any of the engine guards will fit a 07 streetbob that has the floorboards that mount on your peg mounts . I know theres one that works with the harley floorboards for a dyna but not sure about the peg mount boards
Are the peg mount boards adjustable? There is a sweet set out there for a little over $100 I'm looking at getting on ebay. There are a few people with them on here and if those are the ones you have then you can adjust them in almost any configuration with an engine guard.
There about the same width as pegs but stick forward some the way i have them mounted

Yep they r i have the ones of ebay for about 100. I didnt use the one mounting piece that came with it, i thought it moved them to far out and i didnt need to move the boards forward or back that much. I guess if i have to i could use that piece

I,ve been toying with a set of boards. These replace the mid pegs? What do you think of them, more options for your feet. Is the ground clearance better / worse?
Thanks

You can replace any pegs from what i see. JP cycles catalog says you can even put them on as passenger pegs on a softail . I put them on my forward controls. Havent really had any ground clearance problems. not 100% sure but with the piece i left off you can move them 7" forward and back. Up and down 4" or so and they rotate 360 so you can make them set where your feet r comfortable. I will suggest if you get them to get a extended brake pad it seems alot better 2 me. Ive scraped them a few times but i did with the pegs also.
I really like them, way more options to place your feet on a long ride . Id say go for it youll like em. I will say my first ride with them was kinda odd, kinda felt strange but after a few miles there great.
Ill try and get a pic of mine but if you do a search for floorboards you'll find a few here r using them and have pics
My boards r right where i want them and they look kinda forward so thats y im not sure if mine will work with the guard.
