windvest for wide glide

I'm looking to purchase a windvest for my 08 wide glide. I currently have the HD compact detachable windscreen, and at highway speeds it buffets my head a little more than I'd like. I'm 5'10". Which height do you all recommend? 14 or 16"?

I have a 14" Windvest on my 06 WG, and have no buffeting at all. I've found, with this bike and others, that the shorter the windshield the less buffeting there is although there may be more wind noise. I was only going to use the Windvest for long distance rides but I find I like it being on all the time.

Take off the windshield and you will have no issues. The Wide Glide is meant to ride with the wind in your face.

I'm 5'11" and have a 14" inch on my dyna super glide - it's great! It's not very noticable and there is virtually no buffeting. And, it's really easy to take off if you ever decide to do so - but after riding with it you'll wonder why you'd want it off.
