I would think that if leathers or jeans would wear on the paint, so would that. Ever seen the effects with one of those car bras?

Denim is much more abrasive than CLEAN leather, all the miles I've ridden I don't recall my legs riding against the tank. The right leg is huggin' the air cleaner and the left is out in the breeze doin' it's own thing on the left forward control.
