Default Rough idea on power increase....

I rode a couple of baggers in Raleigh today and it got me thinking. Anyone have any idea roughly how much power I gained when I changed my stock SB to an Big Sucker, PCIII, and V&H sideshots? Just seems that I have WAY more power than those stock bikes. I know I could dyno it, but that costs money and I'm facing another deployment soon and I have other things that money needs to get.

At best, you probably gained about 10 hp. SB = Street Bob? If so, your bike is also much lighter. One other thing is the placebo effect of pipes. Lots of people equate extra noise with extra power when they swap pipes.

Agree... mine went up 10-11 hp at stage 1.

Your bikes also 150 to 220 lbs lighter than theirs.

I hate to bring this up, but the sideshots aren't the best-performing pipe out there, so be wary of comparisons strictly by looking at "stage 1." Also depends on the map (or tune).

Thank you for your service!

Not to mention the bagger's are geared differently too. Even a stock SB will out run a stock bagger. Just nature. But with stage I, definitely.
