Does anyone have a picture of their FB with the factory rear rack and backrest? I'm considering buying a Bob but I need the b'rest and rack for a tailpack and I want to see how this would actually look.
I've got them on the bike. I'll try to get some pics and post 'em in the next couple of days.
Heck, if you're on the east side of town, I could just show you the bike.
If it's no problem, I'd like to see the pics when you get a chance. With my work and family schedule for the next couple of weeks, I'm not going to get a chance to get any riding time - or even a cage trip to the east side. (I'm just north of DFW airport.)
Here's mine that I bought a couple of weeks ago. Picked it up from a forum member, GrandPawMoses.
Anyway, it has the factory backrest and rack.

Thanks! It hadn't occurred to me that you could use the "standard" rack with the bobtail rear fender. I'm wondering if that rack would be better for supporting a small-medium tailbag than the bobtail rack:

Mine is the same as Tstyles'. It's pretty heavy duty and detachable. It works well for me.
That would be my opinion. The bobtail rack slopes down and away from the bike. Not really what you want if you are trying to secure something to it.
From the picture, it looks like the bobtail rack is attached to the taillight/license plate assembly. That might impact your ability to swap out the light for an aftermarket or the CVO version...
Have you tried the "customizer" on the HD site? It actually works pretty good and you can see what the different racks look like on the bike.

Ok, this may be a stupid question so be gentle... Where on their site is this "customizer" ye speak of? I seem to remember using it for prior model years but with the '09 site revamp, I can't find it.
