baffle question on pro pipe

I have an 03 lowrider with a vance and hines pro pipe and its fairly quiet, so I looked into the end of the pipe and there is a plug so you can't see through the pipe is this hurting my performance or is just there quiet baffle. Thanks

I tried once with the baffle out, the propipe I had in 03 you could remove the baffle for repacking, I assume still the same. Once the packing burns out (if new) it will get louder.

Pro pipes aren't a very loud pipe anyhow, especially with the stock motor, but you can always play with the baffle if you want it louder.
