Tachometer for fat bob
Anybody out here mounted a tachometer on their Fat Bob? I was thinking maybe a handlebar mounted one vs the dual speedo/tach for $499 Any opinions on this and also is it a hard job or something a handy guy could do?? Thanks

Yes, at least one person (aagr_ve) on this forum has added a handlebar mounted tach. Check out the search feature and this thread...

yake40ma as luckyB mentioned I installed the HD Silver face minit tach 68986-04 with the mounting bracket 67268-06A and the cylindrical housing 67523-04 and I'm very happy with it. Mine was installed by the dealer (1hr job) and there is also an excellent step by step guide at http://www.shareaproject.com/pages/i...i,2354,00.html
Tach is very precise and fast and matches the speedo looks I'll try to post more pics tomorrow.
