Bar Bones seat question
As for the mount, mine was chrome. I'm not even sure mine came with a screw but if they are now making the mounts in black, it would make sense that they would supply a black screw with it. I bet they now make them in both black and chrome and you just happened to get a black one. Which, on a black bike or a blacked out bike, would look just fine. I don't use the stock seat bolt. I bought a knurled seat bolt from HD that I can remove and replace with my fingers to make switching seats quick and easy.
[QUOTE=Goddahavit;3996720]Man the seat looks so good, i took a quick ride, and sitting position is lower and back, exactly what I was looking for.QUOTE]
How much lower and back you figure?? Also is there only one Bare Bones Solo for the dyna or different models? Was looking and saw a couple marked Bare Bones Solo but one looked like it had a more pronounced 'butt rest'. Mighta been for a different bike. How much less comfortable than the stock seat?

I don't know how to measure it, but it feels like a few( maybe 2 ) lower and I am no longer sitting on the rim of the stock seat.
what you might have seen is the silhouette, i hear its got a bit more of a butt holder on it.?
I actually find it more comfortable than the stock seat, but i don't have that may miles on either yet.
