I am also glad all my questions were answered, all but one additional, could anyone please help a brother out and clarify, this crap. I had the removable sissy bar kit installed, did my self....not bad for a Army mech living in Afghan for 16 months.., LOL. Any ways been home since April and riding my butt off, do I need new fender plates also or are the one I have now cool?
Also, question on drilling out my baffles till I can get the cash for new Pipes. Red light or green light Idea, I don't want to be a Tow jumper and be hanging out with my butt tore up needing more money for a stupid idea. I just want to get more sound so I don't get cut off anymore when riding my lil one with me.
your plates should be fine. Just make sure there are no wires hangin out.
+1, the detachable sideplate kit is actually makes this more doable without buying the kit for the wide tire. But cutting and splicing your wires, they got shorter and I think more wire gets used anyway by routing them through the hollow stems in the turn signal hardware for detachable sideplates. They key is simply to make sure your wires are secure and won't contact the wider tire under any circumstances such as bottoming out. If you are comfortable with that, no kit needed and you are good to go.
I agree with what "AdrianVall" wrote above, I also didn't use the kit and dressed the wiring = no problem, but after an accident my original straps were damaged so I replaced them with the ones from the kit.
Here's some photos and info on the Screamin Eagle 180 kit, tends to look bigger with a chopped fender.

Do you know if that item has both threaded serts, or is it like the original, where as the rear strut stand off is threaded for the original turn signal screw? I'm having a hard time trying to describe this thing to make it easy to understand.
Never mind, it looks like it is like the original with a thur- hole.

Hello! I install that 180 wide tire kit too, but i see that tire is not centered in fender.
Must i re-line engine/swingarm rubbermouts? Belt is not center too in picture, i reline it again but still thinking about that clearance with tire and fender...
I ordered the wide tire kit for my lowrider, through the stealership. Took the bike to them and had it installed. When I picked the bike up, I rode it home and parked it. (20 miles) Hubby went out to check it out and found that there was a gouge in the sidewall of the tire that went all the way around. I felt under the rear fender and the tire was flush against the fender on the left side. Called the dealer and they said bring it in. When we got the bike to them, they said mine is the SECOND one they've had to do that and told me the tire was too wide for the lowrider. Sooooo.....I went down to a 170. When I picked the bike up I checked under the fender again. The tire sits 3/4" more to the left than it does on the right. The dealer said this is normal.
I need input. IS THIS NORMAL? Or are they giving me the shaft? I even called HD HQ and they said they allowed for up to 1/2" off center and that all their tires fit the fender like that. Any advice will be helpful.

My tire is offset by 1/8", it's shifted to the air filter side of the bike, which is typical of the 06 and up Dyna's. Also, your photo above is taken at an angle, look at you signals compared to your shocks.
My wife's (new to her 2006 dyns super glide) has the200, I love the look. We lowered the back 1" with no problems. The tire looks centered when I follow her.
