Default Too Lean?

Here's my plug after 4k on my '08 FXDC...I'm running V&H Shortshots, VO2, and a Fuelpak at recommended settings. Does it look lean? Kind of does to me.

After years working on dirt track cars I would not say it was lean, but maybe too hot. If it were lean it would be more white, if it were rich it would be black, it should be a golden brown, a dark brown as it appears in your picture indicates too hot of plug, but like I said that was on a race car engine if I am wrong about it for a motorcycle engine someone correct me.

I found this websites, hope it helps:

11. If your plug looks like this, you've got more problems than you could possibly imagine. Go find a good mechanic to further diagnose your engine issues.

As a mechanic, I love the explaination for this condition! LOL!

not damaging lean. Normally there is a little more black around the threads. Maybe the bike is running at about the same as a factory lean condition. In other words your fuel management riched up the mixture enough to keep it running stock parameters instead of richening for best performance.

On my monitor the picture of the plug looks good to me.
If you look site noted above and look at picture number three. Your plug looks similar, but actually way better. IMHO.

Default too lean

doesnt look lean looks more like fuel additives like octane booster or even the brand of gas, different brands have different colored dye in them

Yea I read somewhere that fuel additives could turn the plug tip more yellowish or orange.
