Hey, I'm looking into replacing all my stock bolts on the primary, timing cover and transmission over the winter. Do I have to remove all the bolts and put on new gaskets or is it possible to replace one bolt at a time and torque it to specs? Just curious if anyone has done this before.

I have replaced them all one at a time and not had any problem.

 

What kind of bolts are you going to replace them with? I've been thinking about doing the same to get away from the stock look and eliminate the need for hot toppers.

 

Problem I've run into with the chrome bolts is the coating process changes the thread dimensions and you run the risk of stripping the inserts or rounding out the bolt threads. Run all the bolts through a die to clean them up before installation.
