Angry Seat Problems

I purchase a Corbin Dual Tour Studded seat for my 2008 Dyna Low Rider and now my inner thighs hurt after a long ride. I have a 20" inseam and the Corbin seat is just too wide and taller than expected. I was thinking of selling the Corbin and get the HD-reach seat and maybe the Progressive 412 11" shocks to lower the bike.

I would appreciate and suggestions or comments.

Thanks

Mark

You might consider sending the seat to Corbin for a rework.

20" inseam? Is your last name Roloff?

+1 on the reworking of your Corbin. If you want the seat to remain under warranty, see if Corbin will do it, and how much it costs.

The best-fit method would be to find a good motorcycle seat maker, and have them modify the seat for you with you there for fitting and measurement.

Thumbs up Seat Problems

The best thing that I found to check on seats is to go to a local dealer and look at the used bikes and to look at the seats and sit on them. The local dealer here has an open lot for persons to look at the used bikes. Most used ones have a varity of seats on them. Also check the internet for dealers of the seats that you are looking to buy close to you for a test ride. Buying a seat unseen and not sat on is taking a risk. Most dearlers will let a person qualified to ride test ride a bike with a seat like you want. I am not trying to be a know it all but relaying my experiance to help save someone problems and money.
