Thanks,
How does the seat ride? in two minds about the spring seat. I like to lower the rear fender more over the tire. One way to do it is to cut the rear struts and install a custom fender but I dont have the heart to cut the struts.
I love the look of the seat, and I like the position--it actually sits a bit higher than the stock seat which makes the handle bar reach more comfortable for me. It is pretty darned firm, though, and less comfortable than the stocker. You also need to hang on when you nail the throttle as (obviously) there's no back to keep you in place.
I plan to buy or fashion some sort of padded cover for longer trips--my boney *** is pretty sore after 250-300 miles.
What shocks are you using? I think the 10.5" ones would bring the fender down.

I am looking to get 11" progresive shocks and I also installed a new front fender which was not on the previous photos I send. I use the HD brawler seat and is very comfy for me.

The fender looks great. Isn't the stock shock length 11" anyway? Or am I mis-remembering. The Brawler seat looks nice, too--I'm sure it has more padding than the springer!

I think the stock lenght for a low rider is 12". The brawler seat fits nice, made quality is great and very comfy. What about a custom bobber seat that has more up kick at the back and mount without springs. Have a look at some west coast choppers.

Another way is to weld up the side holes in the rear fender, then drop the fender lower between the struts and mark new holes where fender looks good. Then trim the side of the fender so it looks neat, the only think is have to make sure the seat still mounts to the fender.
yeah, kinda wonderd that as I was submitting but I was at a work safety class for work and bored beyond belief! So I was willing to reply to anything. At the bar now, so all is good. Good luck with the hunting.
