Default A few more mods

I finally got around to removing the sissy bar. I wondered how the bike would lokk without it. Afew weeks back I added some home made 2 inch risers to my stock bars. I think some apes will be the next change. With the bars turned up, and the risers help me deside if I liked riding with my arms up. Also added the stripper seat I bought thru the parts for sale section from reh13.

Wow! Very, very nice ride man! That scoot looks sick man. I'm going to have to agree with Smiley though, lower the rear end some.. and maybe an attitude stick, not sure about that though. Anyway, good work man. Thanks for sharing

Looks good. I love the versatility of these bikes. You can change the look so easily, it's almost like having multiple bikes.

scoot is awesome!!! I like the taller riser with the apes. Keep the mini apes and get taller risers if you decide you want your hands up more. This is what I would do if my speedo was not where it is. Also agree you should drop the rear a little. The wideglide has 12.6" shocks. With your 18" rear wheel some 12" or 11.5 would be awesome. If you get 11" shocks the belt guard will hit the fender(according to the warning on progressive installation instructions). Don't get 11" shocks.

I also agree on lowering it a bit. Like rounder said going to low and the fender hits the belt guard. You would have to notch the fender to stop that from happening. Any plans for more mods?

Hey All, I appreciate the feed back. The shop that did my wheels for me had sudjested I drop the rear a half inch, maybe one inch. I have not made up my mind yet. In my mind a half inch seems pointless, one inch may be the ticket. I just don't want to go to low.
