Default Rear peg removal

I'm looking to remove the rear pegs on my '07 Wide Glide. The right side unbolts-done. The left has the front support for the upper belt guard. I'd like to keep the chrome belt guard in place. Are there any good options for supporting the front of the belt guard with the left rear peg support removed?

I have an 08 fxd and had to get the passenger pegs so the wife can ride. I will have to look at the parts I have left over and see if there is a bracket that goes in its place. I will let you know if theres a bracket. (if there is you can have mine)

To confirm, he is correct. FXDIs and FXDBs came equipped with solo seats and no rear passenger pegs. They have a bracket they used for support of the belt guard.

Part Number 49216-06

1) Use the search function.
2) Type "belt guard clip".

Yes - you have an option. Buy the Harley-Davidson part that is the front bracket for the belt guard. Will be around $10.00

I also recommend you buy a parts manual to go along with your service manual. These can be ordered via harleydavidson.com
