Default Can't find Neutral

Hey Guys,

Just threw some Apes on my 07 Lowrider and consequently had to recable everything. Anyway, started her up for the first time today to take for a test drive and I can't find neutral. Anyone have any ideas ?

Thanks

Check your clutch adjustment again.

Can you elaborate on the "check your clutch adjustment" ? I replaced all the cables on my roadking this summer, and come to think of it, I can still find neutral, but it is not as easy as I remember.

What is the proper adjustment to make neutral easier to find, but not tooo easy as to slip into neutral instead of going to second under normal accelleration/

Thanks!

Check your clutch cable adjustment. The clutch adjustment shouldn't have changed.

If everything is adjusted right I would dump the stock tootsie roll shift peg and get a longer one. It will make finding neutral ALOT easier..

Default Clutch adjustment

Thanks guys. Much appreciated. I had a feeling its a clutch adjustment issue. I just wasn't sure if I need to back off on the adjustment or tighten it up a bit. I'm guessing I need to back off. Thanks for all of the help.

I take most of the slack out of mine so it starts to disengage the clutch as soon has you pull the handle in a small amount. Easier on hills to start out and fully disengages the clutch when pulled all the way in. Easier to find neutral also. Damn HD mechanics adjust it so it disengages all the way down at the grip. I have to tell them everytime to leave it alone.
