Personnaly I would have it in storage at the dealer just to resist the temptation to ride in the crappy weather but on the other hand that would be good time to get to know your bike by the deep cleaning it'll need when you're done riding. Congrats on the new bike.
Nice bike! Congrats. I bought my Lowrider in Jan 06. Two feet of snow on the ground but the price was right. They delivered it with a covered trailer in a heavy blizzard and man that was tough to have a brand new bike with 5 miles on it sitting in your garage and you can't ride it.
Yeah, I will have to look into the heated gear. At least I was able to put on 80 or so miles before this cold weather. So I got to ride her just not very long...
I hear you, man. I just picked up my bike Friday night, and it's been in the 30s and flurries since. But, I just put on the longjohns and layer up and ride for a little while.
Bought mine in feb 07, and it snowed 5" the day I bought it. They delivered it and it went right in the house. Got a good deal on it so I jumped on it. Should of seen the girlfriends face when she got home that night from work and seen my new baby in the kitchen(priceless).
Great looking bike. We have to wait to ride also when its cold but only a few hours in the morning while it warms up to the fifties. I have turned down good jobs up north just because of the weather and the length of the riding season.
Well, if buying that bike is your biggest mistake, you've been a lot smarter than me so far. It'll be a long winter, but just looking at that bike is worth something. I've seen one in person, and it's a stunner. Congrats
Good to see another guy from the "Burgh" area on here. I'm down for a 103" job till next week and will be back out. There are quite a few nice days here during Dec, Jan, and Feb when you can ride. Send a PM, I'll ride with ya.
