Default Ugly bolts

I have installed several chrome details and put Hottoppers on my bike and it looks really good to me. However, after installing Progressive 440 shocks I have some ugly cad plated looking shock mount bolts just staring at me. In fact, just yesterday, I got off my bike at a local bike shop and a couple guys came over and was complementing (sp?) me on my bike. I thanked them then one said, "man you really need to do something about those shock bolts. They really stand out looking like that."

I have checked before in the J&P cataloge for some sort of shock mount chrome cover but I can't find anything for my bike. I can find chrome shock bolts but never for my bike.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I ride an '07 Wide Glide.

Thanks,

Mark

I have seen them on Hot Toppers website. So they must make them. Also I seen kuryakyn makes a cover for them think their $15. Think they are pretty much universal but take a look I might be wrong.

I bought another set of bolts and sent them out to be chromed. Had the spacers polished. cost me about $90.00 but looks awesome.

Mine need replaced also. A guy that I ride with went out to the local dealer and got the correct bolt size (thread and length) and then went down to the local hardware store and got them. I'm not sure if they are chrome or polished stainless but they sure look a hellava lot better than what I have.

check on line. There's lots of companies that sell chromed and polished stainless bolts. Just make sure you buy a grade 5 bolt.
