Default Fork Braces

I noticed that Super Brace is about to release some fork braces for the Fat Bob model. I have seen people with these on their bikes and I am really wondering if they are worth it? Do they really help all that much?

Default Yes, they are..!

I installed one a while back and it transformed my FXDC. This is one topic you guys might have to punch me out to shut me up about.

Completely changed the handling on my WG for the better! Wouldn't enjoy the bike near as much without it!

I had a Screaming Eagle Fork Brace on my 06 Wide Glide and it made a HUGE difference. I removed it after installing a 3.25" wheel and 120 front tire. Just didn't need it anymore. I'll sell it for $100.00 shipped if anyone wants it.

Try buying one if dosn't make a difference. They have been on backorder with the MOCO for three months. I found one in San Antonio but they wouldn't sell it to me direct (give me a break) had to go through a local dealer. I hope it works. Gets here this week. KTM I don't think yours would have fit my bike.

Fork braces help front end flex and stiffens it up. Definitely a help. I've been using them for years and I wouldn't own a bike without one.

Yep, they work great. I'll be purchasing them eventually for both my bikes. I put one on my V-Strom earlier this year and yeah, the difference is immediately obvious.

I don't have on on my FXDC yet, but I did put one on my 1200C. It made a huge difference in handling and in confidence. A buddy put one on his WG and really noticed the difference. With regards to your specific question about your bike, I think that you might not notice a huge amount of difference because of the relatively small diameter and the greater width of your front tire. The key question to ask is whether or not you've felt any wobbling or flexing when you're pushing hard through a turn or going over rough pavement. If not, then you probably wouldn't notice a heckuva lot of difference. Just my 2 cents.

I just bought a new SE fork brace for my 07 wide glide from ebay (St Paul Harley-Davidson) for $99. If you decide to pull the trigger, look around, there are some good deals out there.
