I've got a LePera Daytona 2-up...it definitely sits you in the bike, and is comfy for both myself and the passenger...I have yet to get a complaint yet. Probably not the best seat out there, but it's a good one.
That is a good looking seat. I have an 06 lowrider with stock seat. Had a Danny Gray on my sportie....was very happy with it, but a bit hard at the same time. Two buddies have sundowners that were very happy with them...I do not like look of them and on lowrider think they will lift me a bit.....but I bit the bullet and sent my coin down to Gamma on this site who had one also worked over by mean city cycles.....since it is winter here I will not know what it is like yet for a drive.....and it will be the boss on the back that gives it the final approval......The Mustang looks hard to me and the top cover looks cheapy for some reason, did not see a corbin for an 06 that I liked....Danny Gray very expensive....sundowner - thick and not with bike looks, but cheap and buddies say it is a great ride????? Good luck!

The Sundowner is probably one of the most comfy ones out there. If you're looking for something low-profile and easy on the eyes though, it's not that kinda seat. It'll be interesting to see what Mean City Cycles does with it, I've always seen and heard great things.
Ya, I will post some pics when I get it....but again, won't be able to ride on it til spring as mother nature has made the roads white up here in saskatchewan Canada....sob sob....
The HD Sundowner is a comfy ride for both driver and passenger, but it's as wide as a couch. I installed a C&C Customs Sport Tour seat with gel padding. Looks and feels great. C&C's customer service and quality are excellent.
I sent my 07 fxdli stock seat to mean city cycles. I didn't care for it and sold it. The guy that bought it loved it. Just a personal feel I guess.
I have a Sadlemen Explorer on order. Rode a friends bike with one and it seemed pretty good and kept you low in the bike.
The C&C looks really nice too.
You will get all kinds of opinions on seats. One person will love a certain seat and another person will hate it. Just gotta try one and see how you like it.
Problem is, it can get costly trying to buy and sell a seat if you don't like it.
Mustang does have a nice policy. Buy it from them directly and you get 10 days to try it out. If you don't like it, send it back and only pay shipping.

I have the HD Touring Seat in my '06 Wide. Did a 12-state, 11 nat'l park, 4200-mile roadtrip Sept. 5 -17, including a couple of 400+ and one 500+ mile days. It was comfy as could be. Have a HD Reach seat...not worth the inch or two it buys you. There are nicer looking seats than the Sundowner or Touring out there; you've gotta decide what's your Prime Directive.
