I was told at my dealer that no one but Screaming Eagle makes slip-ons for the Fatbob as of yet. I went with V and H BP 2 into 1 pro pipes. The SE,s are not much louder than stock. I would wait for some one to come out with aftermarket slipons, if what my dealer said was true.
They look exactly like the factory slip ons, even use all the factory mounting hardware. And they sounded great!
I had them on my Fat Bob for a little while, then decided I wanted to go with the V&H Short Shots.
I have mid controls on my fat bob. Do these exhaust mfrs account for this or do I have to change to fwd controls?? It seems most pictures are showing FB'S with pipes and fwd controls
They are all advertised to fit either the mids or forwards.
FYI: If your just going to use slip ons, they will bolt up to your factory pipes and use your factory hardware (mounting bolts, clamps, etc.).
So, there is absolutely no difference in how your foot controls fit with slip ons.
OK it seems to be a toss up between Rush and Cycle Shacks. Am I correct in assuming the bigger the baffle size the louder the exhaust? What about performancewise? Is there any tradeoffs? Thanks guys for all the info

I have mid controls on my 09 Fat Bob and installed Khrome Werks slip-ons with no problems. The peg and brake where never in the way.

Correct - larger baffle equals louder. Be prepared for the Rush to be back ordered.
I Ordered my Rush Slip Ons from this company, had them in 3 days http://www.phatperformanceparts.com/default.asp
I am not saying they ar ethat fast for everyone, but they did a great job for me and the price is right
my rinehart slipons are load and deep sounding, but are pricey.got them on ebay for 400 list 550.but i think they are the best slipons.but for the money you cant beat rush with the 2.5 baffel.my x girlfrend had the v&h slipons on her dyna sounded good but were not as loud as my rineharts.
