Color me slightly jealous...especially since we we're both bidding on them. Looks great though. Only thing I could say, because I'm a little **** is that I'd have wrapped the pipes so they ended at the same point. It's all about being symmetrical. Other than that, it sounds great. Enjoy big man!

Yeah, that bit with them not ending at the same point was a last minute foul-up. Initially, the intent was to do as many have and wrap down one pipe all the way to the collector, then back up the other one. Turns out that 50' of wrap isn't enough. So I figured it was no biggie, cut the wrap, and wrapped down to the same point on each. But then that rear header transmission clamp wouldn't fit between the two pipes, for whatever reason. Odd, because others have been able to make it fit. So I had to take them off the bike, unwrap a bit on the lower pipe, and respray that portion of the wrap. I decided to leave the upper one longer, because if one's gonna get bumped with a boot heel, it'll probably be that one, and I didn't want that clamp on the bare steel either. Function over form in this case...I was pissed about it at first, but have had a couple days to get over it. With the on-and-off the bike shenanigans and having to make little changes here and there to get stuff to work, this has definitely been a learning experience...I felt like setting the garage ablaze at one point...but very rewarding, and I learned a lot.

Thanks for the compliments!

Rockon,
That thing looks bad ***. I've always liked the look of a thunderheader.

Nice job Rockon, I knew you were struggling with those pipes for a while. Glad to see you got it done.
