Default Best performance slip-ons?

I've upgraded the AC and am trying to spend as little as possible on exhaust. Figured I would try to snag some slip ons either here or ebay. What should I be looking for with regards to performance? Also, I don't want to annoy the neighbors too much so something a little quieter might be good. Although performance comes first. I can always apologise later.

A slip on is a slip on. The biggest difference between them all is sound. You will not see much difference in power between any of them. Get a pair that sounds good, and save your money for a full exhaust system and stage II. That is where you will see the big performance gains.

This is purely anecdotal, but Steve Kowknacki, the "Dyno-King", swears by Cycle-Shack slip-ons for sound and performance.

Its worth taking into consideration given that Kowknacki rips 165-170HP out of his Dyna w/o forced air or NOS and burns Hyabusas on the daily.

Since his bike looks stock, he just waits for them to catch back up at the light and tell's 'em: "This is how Harley makes them now!" LOL.

Added bonus: Cycle Shack's also have one of the lowest price points out there for slip-ons.

I am a big fan of the old school SEII slip ons... but man you will not really get a huge diff from a slip on

Not much extra Hp from a slipon. I think Rush has proven they do increase power with theirs.(gotta check their site). I can tell you that BCT baffles make a difference over the baffles that manufacturers include in their 2-2 pipes.

+1 on the Cycle Shacks.
Using the tapered ones it looks stock but sure doesn't sound like it.

Get your Cycle Shacks from Jirehcycles.com. Just over $100 last time I looked and they have free shipping.
