They still have a problem grounding. I don't know what it is grounding out to.
Is there metal trash in the Primary area? Mine had 2 of the pickups shorted.

That's an issue I haven't even heard of mike.
Guess I'm not paying close enough attention.

Assumed yours had come apart like so many others here.

The 07 set up absolutely is a bolt in set up for the 06's, no mods needed! That is the first I've heard of an issue with any 07's. Sometimes parts screw up, maybe that's the case here, cause I've been keepin an eye out for this problem for a while now!

My 07 went out right before Thanksgiving. Tech told me he has replaced several stator's. MOCO knows they have a problem with them shorting out. Wish I still had the old style Generator. Still have the original on my 77 iron head. It has 40,000 plus miles on it.

I appreciate the answer. The parts guy let me to beleive it may not fit. He didn't come right out and say it wouldn't fit. Maybe he doesn't like me doing my own work. Now I won't even go there to by the parts, their loss.
Thanks,
Happy New Year!

Snowing here today in Ma. Got 18" last week and now another 8".

Went to my HD dealer today and asked for a 2007 stator for my Street Bob. As always they stock very little. He said he would have to order it. I mind as well do that myself.
Does anyone have the correct part # for the 2007 Street Bob welded stator and the manufacturer? If so I can order from them. I want to be sure I order the corret part.
