Hi,are radial Front & Rear tyres available for an 07'FXD.I believe they are a mix of Cross Ply front & Radial rear,is this correct?

Default Tires

Yes they are. Michelin, Metzeler, Pirelli, and Avon, all make radials for bikes.

Continental Road Attacks. They make a 110/80VR19(slightly wider than the stock 100/90 but only a few millimeters difference in height so ride height will be as close as a stock tire with a 1000 miles on it. You need to use no larger than a 170/60ZR17 on the rear because of the stock wheel rim width of 4.5 inches. The Screaming Eagle 180 rear was specifically designed for a narrow rim. Most other 180 width tires need a 5 or 5.5 inch wide rim. Do not mix and match radials with bias ply tires as this produces weird handling problems. You will get a softer ride and more grip with radial tires.

Default Bias v Radial

Thanks, for the replies & info.Cap I have checked out the Conti's,the spec & tests look really good.Have you used them on a Dyna?.Since I started this thread I have checked all the Harley models to see which tyre comes standard on which models,so i'm more informed. My next question is does anyone know the reason/theory for Harley using Bias tyres rather than Radials,on the Dyna's & Tourers.
Thanks,Brit.
