I have a 2000 FXD and it has a 150 on it. Came that way from the guy I bought it from. It rubs a little when I have the misses on the back and I go over a good size bump, but other than that it rides and looks great! hope it helps.
I believe in 2000 the drive belt was made slightly smaller to allow for a larger tire if your bike is a 1999 a 140 is all you can get with out a smaller drive belt.
