A sprung seat is a great idea, especially for the random ball shattering potholes and manhole covers, but I love that Le Pera custom seat! I'm 23" off the ground in a perfect position. If I could find a cover for the ECM I'd consider a sprung seat, but until then I'll be abusing my kidneys on long rides. Yes, I have taken it out on a couple 200-300 mile experimental rides and so far I've survived without injury. The test will be when I move back to VA next August and ride home to Daytona (710 miles). My wife says get a trialer, but that's just not my style of riding!!
Ride hard! Great to see awesome Dynas on this page!

I'm inspired by your Dyna. I've got a 2006 Street Bob and have been trying to decide whether to trade it on a Electra Glide or morph the Bob into a Dyna tourer. I was concerned about how the Bob would look afterwards. Your excellent job has answered that question for me. I'm keepin' the Bob!
All but 2 of us in our group of 6 riders have moved to EG's in the past couple of years. I've been fighting trading my bike. Now I know what my winter project is going to be. Thanks!
