Since you are a contractor and not military, can't you stay in the states and work?

I'm sure the money is good, but it's got to be rough on your kids.

Hopefully all goes well for you over there.

I know that many of you know I'm non-military and I in no way want to take away from our brave soldiers. I do want to thank you all for you kind wishes though.

I'll still be around to check things out providing I have an internet connection.

Masc, unfortunately, the company I work for works in dangerous places. With the way the economy is going, and the job market not looking too good, I've got to ride this out as long as I can.

You are correct when you say it must be tough on the kids, it is. It's tough on all of us, but we all know that I have to work so we're all doing our best and making the sacrifice together.
