New Superglide
Finally! It's here! Some of you may recall that I was riding a '97 WG with a turbocharger. It was stolen (heavy sigh), and I finally got a replacement. I had a number of additions added before I picked it up.
95", cast high compression pistons, SE 204 cam, SE Pro torque slip ons, SE air cleaner, and SERT. The engine looks completly stock. The pipes look stock, except for the SE script on them.
Wild1 mini apes, foreward controls, KA Iso pegs/stirrups and grips, braided cables, front turn signal relocater, and garage door opener.
In addition to all that I have more parts in the basement ready to be installed: Mustang seat, sissy bar/side plates, passenger foot pegs, windshield, some chrome doo-dads, KA LED tail light. I also have some special surface/cosmetic treatments in mind. Bags will be coming soon.
I rode for about 120 miles this afternoon. I'm very impressed. Almost as much low end torque as the turbo, but less power up high. I suspect 85-90mph with passanger, luggage and windshield might be a little difficult. We'll see. Very comfortable with the new bars and foreward controls. Runs very smooth. Roll on power is excellent. Brakes are outstanding! I love this bike. And it's only going to get better.
Only one question. Does it get any better than this?

Good looking ride you picked up. Maybe by the end of tomorrow you will have it all broken in nice and proper.

good to here you like your bike. I purchased a Streetbob for my wife and it is such an easy bike to ride. She has come from a Sporster and thinks this is far better to handle even though it is heaver. I believe Harley has come up with a good package this time.

I like the radio station sign in the background of your new bike's photo. Channel "103" and the station is called the "eagle" kind of a Harley coincidence...........or is it?
