Modify stock air cleaner housing?
From what I've read the real advantage to an aftermarket or SE backing plate and filter comes in from opening up the tiny intake hole on the aircleaner housing, that being said I am wondering for cost savings if a guy could put a k&n filter into an 09 fatbob and drill some extra holes into the bottom of the housing out of site to aid air flow? So you would have the stock houing with extra holes and a k&n for 40 or 50 bucks?
