I am quite happy with my new Fat Bob (1st Harley) but I wanted an XR1200. Had the dealer told me a month ago, when I bought the beast, I would have waited.....just think, a stock air-cooled Harley with genuinely serious available lean angle and a decent power to weight ratio right off the dealer floor!!
I rode a CVO 110" Fat Bob, and was underwhelmed by the soft front end and the lackluster engine performance compared to the stock 96" ......sure the 110" motor had more, but not really impressive to me considering the extra cubes.
The 96" stocker felt fine to me, especially since it was going to get some serious engine room work B4 leaving the dealer. (103" SHO)
