thinkin' about a set of throwover bags for 06 Bob...something small where i won't have to relocate the turn signals...i really don't like the look of the relocated signals..and the bags would just be for occasional use anyway. What are you guys using for bags?
well i know i have adapted mine to work with quick release hardware... BUT... here are pics of a small slant saddle bag on the bike (yes it is a VERY old pic of the bike) but it gives you an idea... got it on ebay for like 35 bucks, the last pic is of large slant river bags (off my girls bike but i use them on occasion) 120 bucks... i have an extra set that i am going to fiberglass in so that i can make quick release hard bags... here is a link to what i use to protect my paint: http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3...gard-PPF/Home/
goes on easy and comes off just as easy
I bought a used set of Willie & Max bags made for a sportster off ebay a long time ago.Just the right size to wedge between the shock and the turn signal.
I got these from Ebay. Loved them. Perfect fit, never got wet inside, quick-release buckles. Best part is the company, they were awesome to deal with. Honestly, can't say enough about how nice they are. Got caught in a downpour and rode through it for 2 hours. Everything inside the bags were bone dry. Half helmet even fit inside.
